I am outraged by your outrage!!

Posted on

Wednesday morning dawned a bit misty and humid, but by ten the mist was burned off by an intense Texas sun.  I staggered down to the studio with the coffee mug and cookies, plopped down in the chair to go through the morning mail and news.

A lot of political posturing dominated the news, and I just scanned the headlines, not worrying over the details. Wokees outraged by this, Critical Racers outraged by that, and people in the middle outraged by the outrages.

I can’t hold on to outrage very long before life intrudes. Mowing my lawn is more important than what the Academic Marxists are teaching the kids this morning.  Coffee sippin’ is more current that a leftist bad boy killed by a cop.

I am in outrage overload. Maybe today I’ll just pick up my own cross and carry it. I can’t carry all the others.

Good morning!

I hate watching the news. I’m somewhat less informed than I used to be? But my BP is not thru the roof anymore anyway. Stupids will always be stupid. Morons will continue to be morons. Idiots will continue in Washington. There will always be SOMEONE offended by SOMETHING because the Stupids, Morons, and Idiots have not learned how to use the scroll feature on their mouse. Maybe I should offer lessons.

Indeed the cookies were especially good. I have two cookie jars right by the coffee maker. It makes the mornings much more bearable …

Your outrage is perfect. And, the lot of them can just piss right on off. 😁

    Coffee & cookies. Excellent.

What area of Texas? I lived in Round Rock for nearly a decade and worked in downtown Austin.

I am just south of Temple, and half an hour north of Round Rock.
With me, cookies are considered a staple. 😀

I’ve been through Temple, through Waco… Headed to Waxahachie for the Renaissance Festival. Wandered around the Stockyards in FW. Been to Dallas…once. My former supervisor (RIP) had a 20 acre ranch in Clyde, just outside of Abilene. His property backed up to the Yahwehs and their guard towers. LOL!

Cookies should always be a staple.

Yeah. I think they called themselves the House of Yahweh … and were associated with the FLDS somehow … I don’t think there are many left down there. But I haven’t been by their in a few aeons now …
