073114_1555_Roughingupt1.jpgMonday dawns a bit brighter, but still overcast as the creeks and rivers slowly subside.  The dormant rye grasses spring to life in fine, almost invisible spikes, causing a silvery green sheen over the drought burned summer grasses.

The rugged land goes through long droughts and devastating floods. It is only puny man that suffers in the extremes.
